When God created man and saw that everything was good, someone at the other corner of the universe was not happy. This person is none other than lucifer the devil.
Thanks to the devil, our world is now surrounded by conflicts that are hard to resolve. It all starts from the conversation the first couple had with him. What might have seemed like a general talk with a friend, turned out to be the beginning of all evils. Adam and Eve were deceived by this character as they enjoyed their time in the paradise of the Garden of Eden. Conflict was born, man blamed the woman and the woman blamed Satan!
These types of blame games have continued over the ages and are still escalating today within continents, countries, regions and family units. Lucifer’s system of evil spirits is fueling these conflicts through deception.
Demons train us to be clever in our own ways. We are trained to think that we can live independently of the Creator. Counterfeit religions and systems borrowed from our pagan cultures are used by satan to block real salvation of our souls. Countless souls are trapped by these systems of deception, we then walk about in a spiritual daze but thinking that we are ok!
The Holy Spirit is our redeemer. He is the only one who can pluck us from these dark systems. We have to yield to the Holy Spirit in order for Him to do His work in us. He cannot do His work if we don’t sow seeds of repentance and be desperate to break away from these systems of deception.
If we are to get victory and conquer these hosts of demons around us, then we have to be more than willing to change! There are those who have never heard of the word of God and there are those that have heard only the deception and are trapped by these fake systems. The field of deception is vast and complicated!
Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!
Using gangs of evil spirits, satan has attempted to control man and his descendants since the day that he caused the fall of Adam and Eve. He caused them to seek to be clever in their own sight and wise in their own eyes and thereby effectively ditched God’s life-giving wisdom!
Genesis 3:3-5 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
2 Corinthians 11:3 I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.
John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies.
Not long after Adam and Eve fell for Satan’s deception, satan sent a demon to entice Cain to kill Abel. Although Cain could not see what was happening in the spiritual realm, God saw and warned Cain to master his anger before something sinful (evil spirit) pounced on him .
Genesis 4:6-7 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Let us be aware that in everything we do, there is an evil spirit stalking you and waiting for the right moment to get in and control you.
Satan uses prowling evil spirits to control people and rule the world. The whole world is controlled by these spirits. It happens in every level, region, territory, family and personal level.
Curses are nothing but evil spirits with special assignments in our lives.
Satan has made sure that as many people as possible do not believe in evil spirits and therefore become hostages of any evil spirit that can be accommodated by their lifestyle, culture or religion.
Just believing that a human being can be demonized is halfway to living in victory over evil.
There are a few people who believe in evil spirits but do not believe these spirits can live in normal people. These category of people are mostly religious but operating under a deception. They are too proud to learn from the Holy Spirit!
Normally, when you give your life to the Creator and your mindset and lifestyle changes , many of these evil spirits leave. They give you up because they can’t tolerate the ways of righteousness in you, but some don’t!
How do we deal with those spirits that don’t leave? Please follow the narration below!
Jesus calls Satan the prince of this world.
John 4:14 I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming, and he has no claim on Me.
We see two facts from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. One, the fact that satan rules over the world and two, that satan rules from inside those who live in disobedience
Ephesians 2:2 …in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
You may ask, how does he rule over the world, in every nation, society or community?
Simple, enticing man away from God by using the old trick of deception.
How does he manage that?
There are two ways he does it.
1. Externally, by dropping thoughts into your mind and you go on believing that these thoughts are yours. He will keep you busy with all sorts of thoughts that have nothing to do with your devotion to God or personal spiritual growth. They could be dirty thoughts, respectable thoughts or worries, but they are all vanities.
2. He uses impure spirits living inside of you, fused with your thoughts and emotions. You literally protect them with your thought pattern. That’s why the bible talks of those that continue to practice sin are children of the devil. There is a difference between a temptation and living in sin. Temptation is of the flesh and in most cases you can overcome it or if you fell you can repent and don’t repeat. Living in sin is demonic and it means you are not on your own but an evil power is controlling your life.
1 John 3:8-9 The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
It’s then not hard for you to embrace and defend the traditions, religions and cultural practices of your ancestors. Sins (impure spirits) living in you encourage you to do it at the expense of the true worship of the living God. You many not believe or see evil alive in your everyday life but just look at your past and see a trail of personal havocs, family breakdowns, lack of harmony in your life. Bible prophesies had predicted the coming of alternative ways of worship to keep humans away from the Creator of the universe! This is through religions and ancestral cultures that offer nothing but deception. Some of these religions have become legitimate all over the world. The truth of the word of God has been defiled through these religions, effectively blocking masses of people from ever getting the truth. Counterfeit wording of God’s word has been used to lure unsuspecting populations. Many of these people are now marked for destruction.
Deceptive religions and cultures have taken root in specific parts of the world becoming a curse even to the unborn child. Children born in these parts of the world are bombarded with deception from birth! One would wonder how such young people will ever encounter the truth!
Daniel 8:23-25
“In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.”
Jesus also talks about the extend of deception as we come near the end of this age.
Mathew 24: 21-24 For then there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Living In Victory via the Holy Spirit
How do we escape satan’s rule in our own lives?
Israel as a nation is our ultimate example of how God fights battles for us. Every time they trusted God, He came to their rescue. He used angels, supernatural phenomenon and people full of the Holy Spirit to conquer the enemies.
The first step is to acknowledge Jesus as our redeemer and to completely trust Him to deliver us. Secondly, we must know that in those days, the Israelis used Moses, David, Joshua, Caleb, Elisha and others to take action and lead them to victory or even perform healing. Today, you are the Joshua, the David and the Elisha and God will use you to lead others to victory in all areas. He will fill you with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is more powerful than satan and all demons combined. You are like a nuclear bomb in a battle with persons fighting you using stones and sticks.

You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
John 14:12-13
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son
Luke 10:18-20
So He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”…
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
