Jesus says that the only option to deal with this spirit is to resist it.
The key word is a “No”. Tell them NO, don’t tolerate them, do not give them a platform to operate or be in-charge of others. It is important to understand that a person living with this spirit has a wounded soul, they are sick and do not necessarily know that they have it. So, attacking this spirit is attacking their character.
The character of this spirit is usually subtly seared on their mind (soul) and they may not be aware of its presence.
If you happen to be in a relationship with a person who has this spirit, RUN. It will not end well with your life unless the person is willing to go through spiritual healing from their wounded soul.
A jezebel spirit infects humans who have been deeply hurt in their lives when they were still young and therefore as they grow the spirit learns how to blend with their wounded thought system.
Although many people believe that this spirit operates mostly through women, it is genderless. Men can also operate under this spirit with the same out-of-control episodes!
A Jezebel-spirit-driven person, does not have a remorseful heart. The word sorry is not in their vocabulary. They don’t submit to any authority, marriage or workplace unless under a tactical agenda!
This spirit makes a person who has it, very deceitful, sometimes very religious, critical of others, bullies and architects of character assassination. Faithfulness to this spirit is a lip-service. Persons with this spirit specialize in betrayal and backstabbing! They will never say anything good about someone else especially if they think that it will build the person’s image! They will go all the length to bring a person down if feel that they are being out-shined, perceive the other person as a threat to their position of influence or can expose their dark side. A Jezebel will only say something nice about someone as a tactical approach to deceive the listener.
In a personal level, where this spirit is, gossip is the main medium of communication. The aim of this spirit is to control people by breaking good relationships between them or breaking their relationships with the Creator. It mocks anything that is worshiped other than itself or what is done in any other way other than its way.
The Jezebel spirit can operate within any religion or culture. A person with this spirit, isn’t always religious but when they are, it is subtle, mixed with antichrist practices. Jezebel is one of the most deceitful antichrist spirits out there.
Persons who have this spirit hate straight and independent minded people. They hate other people leading them. They strife to take your freedom to think. Instead they make you feel like a child when you are reasoning with them.
This spirit seeks to control everyone and is driven by a hunger for power, social influence and material gain. The ultimate aim of this spirit is to set up a system that sells its rotten agenda.
In general, this spirit sets camp in homes, organized groups, companies and the political arena. It takes people within its environment as captives of its ideas. This siege and deception can last for years.
In a Christian setup, this spirit has no respect for holiness and purity that comes through the gospel or does it respect God ordained structures like marriages and genuine worship groups!
A person with a Jezebel spirit is showy in everything, wants to portray perfection when it is visibly not there. If religious, they will always have the right spiritual jargon to fool you.
This is the same spirit that operated in the historical Jezebel, the wife of Ahab king of Israel.
“And it came to pass when Joram saw Jehu that he said, ‘Is it peace, Jehu?’ And he answered, ‘What peace so long as the whoredom of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?’” (2 Kings 9:22).
A Jezebel is not a prostitute as depicted by some theological scholars, but can be a whore. Prostitutes want money for their services, a whore is a person driven by this spirit to gain power over your life using anything, including seduction! Where this spirit is, the spirit of witchcraft is not far behind!
